Fate of the Empire
The past month has been something of a blur. Having fled the Imperial City I ran to Chorrol, I moved on to Skingrad and the to Kavach. My first impressions were that the Imperial Guard would be after me.. but no there is a far greater foe. Denizens of Oblivion roam these lands and indeed they are foul. So my trials have taken me into Oblivion and back, literally. I've joined Mages Guild and Fighters Guild alike. Bastards don't pay very well and my living comes mainly from the loot I find on various corpses. Thankfully I've got a reasonable stock of healing potions. By the Nine do I need them as well.
Trolls… absolute gits! And in one quest I performed (inside a painting!) I encountered painted trolls. Foul things, chomping at my heels. Not as foul as the flaming pits of Oblivion though. Daedroth.. huge beasts that beat on me with terrible ferocity. Spider Daedra with their seriously annoying little critter helpers. How I'd like to pummel their tiny hate filled brains.
But a part of Oblivion seems to have embraced me. Which is a greater worry. I found a lair of a woman named only as 'Umbra' and slew her mercilessly. Well in actual fact I jumped onto a broken pillar in the room like a girl after she started battering the life out of me. Fortunately I was out of harms reached and used a combination of arrows, magic and spit to defeat her. Only afterwards, after the blood lust had subsided, did I realise that I had murdered her in cold blood. That night the Dark Brotherhood visited me. The speaker was harsh.. but I deserved it. At that moment I thought the Nine would forsake me and I was destined to join the beasts of Oblivion that I had sworn to protect the land from in any way I can. But repent I did and the Nine appear to have forgiven me.
As my travels in the land continue I have run upon strange things indeed. A woman who was cursed to carry a Staff of Everscamp. If ever there was something I would not dream of cursing something with it was that! Four of the foul critters too. Enough to make me wish I was back in Morrowind and a servant of the Temple… Nine forbid!

A few behavior tips coming your way.
If you ”accidentally” assault a innocent, (guard, civvie, shopkeeper.)
as long as you only hit them once(or didn’t kill them), you can actually get them to realise
[This is continuing the last post, I must have hit the wrong button]
…you can actually get them to realise that it was a mistake by putting away your weapon. this actually puts down their ”Feel Threaten” A.I. behavior, and they should just forget about it.
If they keep attacking you, then you probably hit them repeatedly, or hurt them past the point of forgiveness.
Also, if an innocent or anyone attacks you without reason, you can defend yourself(as long as they hit you first), and not suffer the consequences.
If you right click mouse and press space you yield and they normaly ease of
oh,:o thanks.
Capital! Your story is one of great interest. I too have come across the Staff of the Everscamp. It is a foul object and I was glad to get rid of it. Being the most wanted man in Cyrodill I do not worship the Nine or any other God for that matter. Infact the Gods have given up hope on me and I cannot worship. I am about to embark on a journey into the keep of Sancre Tor to retriev the armour of Tiber Septim. I am sure it would be of great value and fetch a handsome price in any shop with enough money to purchase it but it is vital to the protection of Tamriel. I also share your hatred of trolls and have come across these “painted” trolls. I quickly dispatched of them with a turpentine soaked blade. Recently I shot one in the forest on one of my many hunting trips in wich I roam the Imperial Reserves South of Chorrol and North of Skingrad in search of deer and other forest creatures to practise my archery skills on. It is one of my favourite hobbies and find that the Jerall mountains are also of good hunting. There are many caves in Cyrodill containing various things, one including an “animal” woman who lives in harmony with lions and bears. If you have completed the Dark Brotherhood quests you will know who I mean.
Yours sincerely The Gray Fox
Here’s a bother. Before I went to search for portals into the realm of Oblivion, not to close them, but to gather bloodgrass so I could slip around and get a certain item I wanted in Cheydinhal, I sent my pirates out to pillage. After long I got the item I was trying to get, an Ebony Bow, and my pirates returned to me. I then found that I was expelled from the Dark Brotherhood, the Fighters Guild, and the Mages Guild. All for stealing. This bothered me greatly as I had to do perilous chores to retain my dignity in the Dark Brotherhood and the Fighters guild. The Mages guild, however, just gave me a stern talking to. Let this be a warning to all of you who run a group of pirates, think twice before you send them out to pillage, they may in fact get you in trouble with the guilds you’re associated with.
Sincerely, Scarborough; Hero of Cyrodil and Vvardenfel.
PS: Sigil Stones are quite handy as enchanting tools. Just thought I’d say that.
You can get expelled from every single guild ever just for hitting your horse. I never really understood why, but it seems a bit of a bother.
Aside from that, if you’re past about level 15 (and have a ‘decent’ sword, i.e. glass) you’ll be able to dispatch trolls easily.
A good story.
I, being a poor and helpless slave have had troubles dealing with the gods. I have commited too many crimes to be forgiven but I am so poor i have to steal. there is no option. I have hidden in Bruma for the last few days, Anvil is no longer safe. Moving by night and sleeping by day i am safe. However staying in one place for too long is dangerous. Soon i will have to move again. Further north. Into the dark mountains where i will be forced to defend for myself. Being a master thief i can move from place to place undetected but i know the guard isn’t too far behind.
There is hope for me however, the thieves guild… My plan is to lose the guild in the mountains and head south, cross country. Using the roads would be stupid and traveling by day would be even more stupid. They are my last hope.
My fellow people of cyrodill i start a new life due to that imperial pig Audiens Invidius regretebly i look to my future scavaging of the land the nine gave us may akatosh guide me
