Part of something much larger
What is going on? Was the Emperor right? Did he genuinely see something in me? That I could right wrongs? I honestly don't know but I'm driven to find out. I carried the Amulet of Kings with me as I made my way to Weynon Priory. Immediately leaving the Imperial City behind me. I had to make sure that place was far away. Too many disturbing memories.
Being Dunmer I'm blessed with a certain grace and fitness, so I covered the ground by night and headed into the wilderness. I thought best to stay off the road as patrols could yet find me. However, the Imperial Guard are not looking for a Dunmer, they appear to be searching for something or someone much grander. The wilds of XXX provide a challenge for any traveller, lest one that is unarmed and bright eyed. I'd found a small battered sword in the sewer system but it would not prove to be the match of any creature I encountered. Lo and behold wolves! I was forced to flee, although I found that my fists provided a better defence than the pathetic sword.

I am but a humble monk, behind me my woeful days in prison they are.
But it did toughen me though i must admit, for i could not defend myself so diligently as prior.
Last i remebr i was in the great forest and managed to stumble across Gottlesfont Priory. A quaint and small dedication to the nines but suited me fine than the wilderness and beasts that lurk in the trees..watching..waiting. i rudley busted open the door, there was no time for subtley, as two ogres were tracking me ever since i enter the forest, it was dead in the night but the monks were wide awake grinding motherwort petals…one of them stood up and says,”and who might you….be…a fellow brother?” Assuming from my robe.I, hoping for thier sancturary and secruity said “Yes by the nines you have to help me!” the other one a female stood up only after hearing my plea, and said “very well..brother?…”gerald, sister, brother gerald” “Well now that we met can we take care of this inpending doom on my life?” the monks were unuassly calm. i wondered….
Suddnely two ogres came crasinh thruogh the side of the house squashing the sister. the male monk unsheathed his steel mace which looked potent but to no avail was no match he attcked thrice and hurt it not! the ogre tuanted the human to attack again so he charged i yelled “nooooooo!!” but it was too late, with a huge crack the ogre ripped out the male monk’s spine, blood splattered on the wall…and on my face. to my surprise the ogres hestiated to advance on me…i stood there staring in to his face….the other ogre came up and yelled at the other…were they arguring? i didnt wanna find out so i ran, ran and didnt stop…i reached a road where a legion horseman was on patrol, i asked where i was but only got replyed as there are bandits near chorrol…so i asuumed i was near chorrol.
2am in the morning and i was tired i could barely run…then i reached ahill and over the hill was a farm of some sorts, it looked and damaged, but good enough for shelter on the door ogf the house was engraved “Weatherleah” “huh” i muttered to myself i opened up and found bones everywhere! i was scared at all the death in this house…i went upstairs only to find all the bones i had seen didnt compare to all these…ogres…they had done this i figured i would be on my guard and wait for them to return..i will be ready this time…
I also find that the Emporer has misplaced his trust as I am one of Cyrodill’s many menaces and have taken more than I have given to the lazy, simple minded citizens of the cities, towns, villages and lone farmsteads of Tamriel. Capital! The loot provides me with a good home(the now refurbished rooms of Benirus Manor. Did a bit of ghostbusting), and a great wealth. I have also wandered the roads connecting the cities and have mugged many a weary traveller, I once encountered the Countess of Leyawiin herself and after slaying her with my trusty sword, moved onto her entourage and emptied all their pockets. I bid you a happy life in Gottlestone Priory Brother, I am not uncommon with it and the surrounding lands as the Great Forest is my favourite hunting ground.
Yours sincerely The Gray Fox
Nathaniel walked through the door to the farmhouse of Weatherleah and was
shocked to find bones everywhere. “By Azura…” He walked upstairs and saw a monk. “Who… Did you do this?” demanded Nathaniel.
