i do not know if it is the console of the game either. My 360 freezes on oblibion, but it is my only game. does ne body know
I have the same problem. I have five games, but Oblivon is the only one where I experience freezing.

For those of you who are having their Xbox 360’s freeze on ya, if you have the Xbox 360s without the harddrive, that may be whats wrong.
As a big time fan of Oblivion, I can safely tell you that it wrecks shop on most people’s computers, even the good ones. Many people upgrade their video cards in order to play it better (or at all), and finding the right 3D card is a miserable experience. I have a website that could save some of your readers alot of trouble, and would like you to visit and take a look.

I had orther problem! my game works a bit well at low graphical mode, i really hate it and i had no solution! my computer had a pentium 3.06 ghz, 512 mb of ram memory, too much hard disk and a video accelerator NVidia of 128 Mb. PLEASE! Tell me why it works so slow!!

Oblivion is one of the best games in the world…. anyone who doesnt have Oblivion needs to exucted!!!
I’ve got Oblivion on PC. One of the best games ever in my opinion. My current character is a male Dark Elf.

Oblivion is a extremely advanced softeware by Bethsada. It involves a RAM unit 98.44g processing chip which causes freezing. Freezing in the game is very common, since your xbox 360 is a 333.85 RAM processing chip it uses a lot of the systems power. As a comparrison Halo 3 is only a 11.2g processing chip and Bio Shock and Mass Effect together are only 43.97g processing chip. So my suggestion would to be either get a 120g hardrive which will make the game run a lot smoother, or also a very common way to fix the problem is to lay the 360 on its side that way the processing ship is not faced on the ground where heat can store inside, instead it is on its side allowing air to flow through. When teleporting from city to city take about a 10 second break, everytime you teleport you run your 360 chip very fast, the force of the lazer processer can not always pick up the games advanced graphics and informational code, so be patient your 360 can do it.
so in order to get my xbox 360 to work faster for oblivion i need a more advanced harddrive right?
